Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NORO-X (also known as NORO-X Foaming Handsoap) is an over-the-counter (OTC) antibacterial foaming hand soap developed and manufactured by BIO3S. The product is formulated with 0.095% o-Cymen-5-ol (isopropyl methylphenol) as its active ingredient, which provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity by disrupting microbial cell membranes and inhibiting essential enzymatic pathways. Additionally, NORO-X contains Canavalia Ensiformis (sword bean) seed ferment extract (CESE), a patented natural ingredient developed by BIO3S that exhibits antiviral properties by binding to and neutralizing viral spike proteins, including those of norovirus and coronaviruses. NORO-X is marketed as a consumer disinfectant and hygiene product for topical hand washing to reduce bacterial and viral pathogens on the skin.
