Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Noroid is a commercial line of topical barrier-repair moisturizers and emollients formulated to treat dry, sensitive skin and manage conditions like atopic dermatitis (eczema). Originally developed by the South Korean company NeoPharm and licensed to SOHO Global Health in Indonesia, Noroid utilizes patented Multi-Lamellar Emulsion (MLE) technology. This technology mimics the natural lamellar structure of the skin's lipid barrier. The primary active component is a synthetic pseudo-ceramide (Myristoyl/Palmitoyl Oxostearamide/Arachamide MEA), which works alongside phytosterols, squalane, and stearic acid to restore skin barrier function, prevent trans-epidermal water loss, and alleviate itching and irritation.
