Drug intelligence / Profile preview
norovirus peptide antigen vaccine (NoV GII.4 VP1) is a preclinical peptide-based vaccine candidate designed to prevent norovirus infection. It contains a peptide antigen derived from the major capsid protein VP1 of the GII.4 genotype of norovirus (NoV GII.4 VP1). The vaccine is being developed and evaluated by researchers at Seoul National University and Seoul National University Hospital. Preclinical studies in mouse models have utilized multimodality imaging (including SPECT/CT, fluorescence, and bioluminescence imaging) to monitor the biodistribution of the vaccine components and evaluate the recruitment and activation of immune cells at the injection site and draining lymph nodes.
