NOUS-THV-001

NOUS-THV-001 is a preclinical-stage, fully replicative, targeted and armored oncolytic Herpes Virus developed by Nouscom. It is engineered to de-target natural viral receptors and selectively bind to tumor cell-surface antigen receptors with monoclonal antibody-like specificity. This redirection allows the virus to selectively infect and kill cancer cells via immunogenic cell death, releasing tumor neoantigens that stimulate cancer-specific T-cell proliferation. Additionally, NOUS-THV-001 is engineered to express immunomodulatory transgenes within the tumor microenvironment to enhance and broaden its anti-tumor immune response.
