Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NouvSoma001 is an exosome-based therapeutic candidate composed of human-induced neural stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (hiNSC-EVs). Developed by **NouvNeu Biotechnology**, the drug is designed to utilize the natural signaling and regenerative properties of neural stem cells in a cell-free format. By delivering a multifaceted cargo of bioactive proteins, lipids, and microRNAs directly to the central nervous system, NouvSoma001 aims to modulate neuroinflammation and promote neuroregeneration. This approach is intended to provide the neuroprotective benefits of stem cell therapy while mitigating common risks such as tumorigenicity or host immune rejection associated with live cell transplantation. It is currently undergoing evaluation in early-stage clinical trials for neuroinflammatory and neurovascular conditions, including neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) and ischemic stroke.
