NOV-1776

NOV-1776 is a topically applied, transcutaneous gel formulation of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug ketorolac tromethamine at 12.5% w/w, developed to provide systemic and local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects via skin application rather than injection. It is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical studies as an alternative to intravenous ketorolac tromethamine, with goals of achieving comparable exposure and pain control while improving convenience and potentially reducing systemic adverse effects associated with parenteral NSAID use, including for acute gout flares.[1][3][5][7]
