NOVA63035 is a formulation of dexamethasone palmitate, a long-acting synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid ester. Dexamethasone palmitate acts as a prodrug of dexamethasone and is designed for enhanced lipophilicity and prolonged anti-inflammatory effect. It functions primarily as an agonist of the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), exerting potent anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, antiallergic, and antishock effects. The drug has been developed for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory or allergic conditions[1][3][5].
