Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Novel Compound 9 is a preclinical-stage small molecule therapeutic being developed by Eluciderm for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris. As part of Eluciderm's proprietary platform, the compound is designed to modulate the Wnt signaling pathway to activate the body's natural regenerative mechanisms. While specific molecular targets within the Wnt pathway have not been publicly disclosed for this particular candidate, the drug is intended for topical application to address the underlying pathology of acne. It is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation to support further clinical development.
