Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Novel TCR-T is a preclinical-stage T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy being developed by PharmaEssentia. This cell therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's T cells to express a specific TCR designed to recognize a novel, undisclosed tumor-associated antigen. Once these engineered T cells are re-infused into the patient, they are intended to identify and eliminate cancer cells expressing the target antigen through the natural cytotoxic mechanisms of the immune system. The program represents part of PharmaEssentia's research into next-generation immunotherapies for the treatment of malignancies.
