Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Novoleucel is a novel, broad-acting T cell therapy under development for the treatment of cervical cancer. It is being developed as an autologous T cell therapy, which involves collecting a patient’s own T cells, genetically modifying or expanding them to enhance their anti-tumor activity, and then reinfusing them into the patient. The approach aims to harness and direct the immune system to target and destroy cancer cells more effectively. Novoleucel has completed preclinical development for cervical cancer and is advancing toward clinical trials[4].
