Novospray

**Novospray** is an investigational, locally administered artificial-saliva oral spray developed at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam for symptomatic relief of xerostomia, including dry mouth associated with Sjögren's syndrome. It was evaluated in a randomized crossover study against a placebo spray. The publicly available trial materials describe the investigational artificial-saliva spray as containing an ingredient derived from chicken eggs, but do not publicly identify its complete composition or a defined molecular target.
