**Nowarta110** is a topical therapeutic formulation developed by Nowarta Biopharma for plantar warts caused by human papillomavirus. It is composed of fig extract and colloidal silver. In a completed randomized, double-blind Phase I/II study in patients with plantar warts, the formulation was evaluated against placebo; its molecular target and precise pharmacologic mechanism have not been publicly established. Preclinical publications have also reported antiviral, cytotoxic, and antitumor activity in cell-based and murine models, but these findings have not established clinical efficacy in those additional settings.
