NP-015, also known as Anthrax Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) or by the brand name Anthrasil, is a biologic developed by Emergent BioSolutions. It is a hyperimmune globulin containing polyclonal immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies derived from the plasma of healthy donors who have been immunized with anthrax vaccine. These antibodies provide passive immunity by neutralizing anthrax toxin. It is indicated for the treatment of inhalational anthrax in adult and pediatric patients, in combination with appropriate antibacterial drugs.
