NP-E7LP

NP-E7LP is an investigational therapeutic vaccine designed for the treatment of cancers associated with Human Papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16), such as cervical cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Developed by NeoPharma, the vaccine consists of HPV16 E7 long peptides encapsulated within a nanoparticle delivery platform. The E7 protein is a primary oncoprotein responsible for the development and maintenance of HPV-induced malignancies. By delivering these specific antigens, NP-E7LP aims to stimulate the host's immune system to generate a robust CD8+ T-cell response, which can recognize and eliminate tumor cells expressing the E7 protein. The candidate is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to determine its safety, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced or recurrent HPV16-positive tumors.
