Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NP006 is an autologous polyclonal regulatory T cell (Treg) therapy developed by Shanghai Saierxin Biomedical Technology (NovaBio). It is designed to treat autoimmune diseases by restoring immune tolerance through the suppression of aberrant immune responses. The therapy involves the isolation, ex vivo expansion, and subsequent intravenous re-infusion of a patient's own Treg cells. NP006 is currently being evaluated in investigator-initiated trials (IIT) for indications including autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) and Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), and is undergoing IND-enabling studies for formal clinical development.
