Overview

NPB5005-V283 is an investigational autologous cell therapy being developed by Neomics Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. In a phase I study, patients undergo lymphodepletion with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide followed by infusion of NPB5005-V283, with successful product manufacturing reported for all enrolled subjects, suggesting a personalized, ex vivo–engineered cellular product rather than a conventional small molecule or antibody. Early clinical experience focuses on heavily pretreated multiple myeloma patients, including those with high-risk cytogenetics and extramedullary disease, to evaluate safety, feasibility, and preliminary antitumor activity.[1]
