Overview

NPT520-337 is a small molecule inhibitor of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) family, designed to cross the blood-brain barrier. It is being developed as a potential therapy for glioblastoma and other neoplasms. The drug acts by inhibiting PI3Ks, which are key regulators of cell growth and survival pathways often dysregulated in cancer. Preclinical studies suggest that NPT520-337 may sensitize glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) to immune checkpoint inhibitors and/or radiation therapies by modulating immune responses within the tumor microenvironment[1][6]. The compound is currently in preclinical development.
