Overview

NPX372 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody developed by NextPoint Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It functions as a T cell engager, simultaneously targeting CD3 on T cells and B7-H7 (also known as HHLA2) on tumor cells. By binding to both targets, NPX372 redirects T cell-mediated cytotoxicity specifically toward B7-H7-positive tumor cells, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is designed to offer high specificity and potency in redirecting immune activity against cancer while minimizing off-target effects. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent anti-tumor efficacy and a favorable safety profile at clinically relevant doses without evidence of cytokine release syndrome. The agent is part of NextPoint’s precision immunotherapy portfolio aimed at expanding monotherapy options for patients with various solid tumors expressing B7-H7[1][3][4][5].
