NPX372 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody developed by NextPoint Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It functions as a T cell engager, simultaneously targeting CD3 on T cells and B7-H7 (also known as HHLA2) on tumor cells. By binding to both targets, NPX372 redirects T cell-mediated cytotoxicity specifically toward B7-H7-positive tumor cells, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is designed to offer high specificity and potency in redirecting immune activity against cancer while minimizing off-target effects. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent anti-tumor efficacy and a favorable safety profile at clinically relevant doses without evidence of cytokine release syndrome.
