Overview
NQ-ON is a preclinical-stage peptide therapeutic candidate being developed by Novaliq for undisclosed ophthalmic indications. The drug is formulated using Novaliq's proprietary EyeSol® technology, a water-free drug delivery platform based on semifluorinated alkanes (SFAs). EyeSol® is designed to enhance the solubility and stability of complex molecules like peptides, potentially improving ocular bioavailability and eliminating the need for preservatives or surfactants. As of 2024, NQ-ON remains in the early stages of development with specific molecular targets and clinical indications yet to be announced by the sponsor.
