NQ-Retina

NQ-Retina is a preclinical-stage peptide therapeutic being developed by Novaliq for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. The drug candidate is formulated using Novaliq's proprietary EyeSol® technology, which is a water-free, preservative-free delivery platform based on semi-fluorinated alkanes (SFAs). This platform is designed to enhance the solubility and stability of peptides and improve their penetration into ocular tissues. NQ-Retina aims to provide a novel approach to managing retinal complications in diabetic patients, potentially offering a more effective or less invasive delivery method compared to standard intravitreal injections by leveraging the unique properties of the EyeSol vehicle to reach the posterior segment of the eye.
