Overview

NQ1910 (also known as IQDINE) is a preclinical-stage small molecule anti-infective being developed by Novaliq for the treatment of bacterial and viral conjunctivitis. The drug is formulated as a topical eye drop using Novaliq's proprietary EyeSol® technology, a water-free platform based on perfluorohexyloctane. This delivery system is designed to enhance the solubility and stability of active ingredients while improving ocular surface residence time and bioavailability. By utilizing a water-free formulation, NQ1910 avoids the need for preservatives, which can be irritating to the ocular surface. The drug is intended to provide a broad-spectrum therapeutic option for infectious conjunctivitis, addressing both bacterial and viral pathogens.
