Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NQ2030 is a preclinical-stage small molecule therapeutic candidate being developed by Novaliq for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. It is formulated as a topical eye drop utilizing Novaliq's proprietary EyeSol® technology, a water-free, perfluorohexyloctane-based platform designed to enable the delivery of drugs to the posterior segment of the eye. NQ2030 is intended to address the underlying pathology of diabetic retinopathy through its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. By offering a topical administration route, NQ2030 potentially provides a less invasive alternative to the current standard of care, which often involves frequent intravitreal injections.
