NQ2040 is a preclinical-stage peptide therapeutic being developed by Novaliq for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. The drug is formulated using Novaliq's proprietary EyeSol technology, a water-free, perfluorohexyloctane-based platform designed to enhance the delivery of active ingredients to both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye via topical ocular administration. NQ2040 is characterized by a dual mechanism of action, providing both anti-angiogenic and neuroprotective effects.
