Overview

NRP409 is a Carrierwave™ triiodothyronine (T3) hormone developed as a treatment for primary hypothyroidism. It was designed to reduce the variability of hormone availability while minimizing safety risks associated with other T3-based therapies. New River Pharmaceuticals believed it would represent the first significant improvement in thyroid hormone replacement therapy in approximately half a century.
