Overview

NRT-NMJ_002 is a preclinical-stage small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic being developed by NEORNAT for the treatment of lung cancer. The drug is designed to silence a specific, overexpressed DNA replication enzyme that acts as an oncogene. By inhibiting this enzyme, NRT-NMJ_002 aims to suppress the expression of DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs), thereby reversing aberrant DNA methylation patterns and restoring the activity of tumor suppressor genes that are typically silenced in cancer cells. This epigenetic modulation strategy is intended to inhibit tumor growth and progression in lung cancer patients.
