NSC 748933

**NSC 748933** is an investigational polyvalent therapeutic cancer vaccine developed as a mixture of four tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen–keyhole limpet hemocyanin conjugates: Globo-H-KLH, GM2-KLH, Tn-MUC1-32mer-KLH, and TF-KLH. The vaccine is intended to induce humoral immune responses against carbohydrate epitopes expressed on epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer cells. In the randomized Phase II NRG Oncology/Gynecologic Oncology Group study NCT00857545, NSC 748933 was administered subcutaneously with the saponin immunoadjuvant OPT-821 to patients in second or third complete remission. The regimen was modestly immunogenic but did not improve progression-free survival or overall survival relative to OPT-821 alone.
