Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NSC61610 is an orally active, small molecule lanthionine synthetase C-like 2 (LANCL2) ligand and activator. Developed by Biotherapeutics, NSC61610 acts as an immunomodulator that targets the LANCL2 pathway to suppress inflammation. In preclinical models, NSC61610 has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy against influenza A virus infection and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by down-modulating pulmonary and colonic inflammation, reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-alpha and MCP-1), and promoting IL-10-mediated regulatory responses.
