Overview

NST-3602 is a blocking monoclonal antibody targeting the CD161 (KLRB1) receptor, an inhibitory checkpoint expressed on various immune cells, including T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Developed by Novasenta, the antibody is designed to disrupt the interaction between CD161 and its ligand, LLT1 (CLEC2D), which is often upregulated in the tumor microenvironment to evade immune detection. By inhibiting this pathway, NST-3602 aims to restore and enhance the anti-tumor activity of T and NK cells. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase, with potential applications in both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
