Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NT-020 is a proprietary nutraceutical formulation developed by the University of South Florida's Center of Excellence for Aging and Brain Repair. It is a combination of natural ingredients, including blueberry extract (Vaccinium angustifolium), green tea extract (Camellia sinensis), L-carnosine, and vitamin D3. The compound is designed to enhance the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells and provide neuroprotection by reducing oxidative stress and neuroinflammation. Mechanistically, NT-020 has been shown to activate the Nrf-2 and Wnt signaling pathways and decrease microglial activation. Clinical studies have evaluated its efficacy in improving cognitive performance, specifically processing speed and spatial memory, in healthy older adults.
