Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NT-310 is a non-targeted nanoliposomal formulation of the taxane docetaxel. Developed by Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, it served as the non-targeted control or comparator for MM-310, an EphA2-targeted docetaxel nanoliposome. While MM-310 utilizes an scFv targeting arm to bind to EphA2-overexpressing tumor cells, NT-310 relies primarily on the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect for intratumoral accumulation. Preclinical studies in gastric, esophageal, and triple-negative breast cancer models have utilized NT-310 to evaluate the relative contribution of active cellular targeting to the overall efficacy and microdistribution of liposomal docetaxel delivery.
