Overview

NTQ1062 is an orally bioavailable, small molecule inhibitor of Akt (protein kinase B), developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and breast cancer. It acts as an ATP-competitive inhibitor, binding to and inhibiting the activity of Akt, which leads to inhibition of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. This results in reduced cell proliferation and increased apoptosis in tumor cells. Preclinical studies have shown potent antitumor efficacy both in vitro and in vivo, particularly in models with activated PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathways. NTQ1062 has demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetic properties and dose-dependent pharmacodynamic effects on downstream biomarkers. As of 2024, it is being evaluated in phase I clinical trials for advanced solid tumors and breast cancer[1][2][3][4][5].
