Overview

NTQ5082 is a small molecule inhibitor of complement factor B (CFB), developed by Nanjing Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical. It is being investigated primarily for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). The drug acts by inhibiting CFB, a key component in the alternative pathway of the complement system, which plays a role in hemolysis seen in PNH. As of early 2025, NTQ5082 has reached Phase 2 clinical trials for PNH and has also been studied in Phase 1 trials to assess safety and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers[1][2][4][5].
