Overview
NTX-1024 is an investigational topical ophthalmic solution being developed by NexEos Bio for the treatment of eosinophilic conjunctivitis, including Vernal Keratoconjunctivitis (VKC), Atopic Keratoconjunctivitis (AKC), and Perennial Allergic Conjunctivitis (PAC). The drug is designed to target and neutralize eosinophil-derived cationic granule proteins, which are inflammatory proteins in the ocular tear film associated with allergic diseases. By neutralizing these proteins, NTX-1024 aims to reduce ocular inflammation through a non-systemic, first-line therapeutic approach. As of 2024, the program is in preclinical development, with plans for a first-in-human proof-of-concept study in Mexico for VKC.
