Overview

NTX-253 is a positive allosteric modulator (PAM) targeting the M4 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor. It is being advanced for the treatment of schizophrenia. The drug was part of Addex Therapeutics' portfolio of allosteric modulator programs, which were spun out into a new company, Neurosterix, in April 2024. Neurosterix is now responsible for advancing NTX-253.
