Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NTX8090 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Nectin Therapeutics. It specifically targets the poliovirus receptor (PVR, also known as CD155), a protein that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors and plays a significant role in tumor immune evasion by interacting with inhibitory receptors on immune cells. By utilizing an ADC modality, NTX8090 is designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload directly to PVR-expressing malignant cells, with a particular focus on treating "cold" tumors—malignancies that are typically resistant to standard immunotherapies. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development for the treatment of treatment-resistant solid malignancies.
