NU400

NU400 is a proprietary PEGylated recombinant human interferon beta-1b being developed by Nuron Biotech as a long-acting therapy for multiple sclerosis. By covalently attaching polyethylene glycol (PEG) to interferon beta-1b, NU400 is designed to extend systemic exposure and allow less frequent dosing while preserving the immunomodulatory effects on cytokine signaling that underlie the clinical benefit of interferon beta therapies in relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis. The product is produced using a recombinant mammalian cell expression system and represents a next-generation formulation intended to improve convenience and potentially tolerability compared with existing interferon beta-1b products.
