Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nuan Gong Qi Wei San (also known as Sugemule-7) is a traditional Mongolian medicine formula developed and manufactured by Inner Mongolia Datang Pharmaceutical. It is formulated as a powder containing seven active herbal ingredients: Amomum cardamomum (cardamom), Asparagus cochinchinensis (asparagus root), Gymnadenia conopsea (hand-shaped ginseng), Aquilaria agallocha (agarwood), Myristica fragrans (nutmeg), Polygonatum sibiricum (Solomonseal rhizome), and Syzygium aromaticum (clove). The formula is traditionally used to warm the uterus, regulate qi and blood circulation, and alleviate pain. It is indicated for conditions such as qi stagnation, lower back pain, lower abdominal cold pain, irregular menstruation, excessive vaginal discharge, and uterine coldness. In October 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China officially converted Nuan Gong Qi Wei San from a prescription drug to an over-the-counter (OTC) medication.
