Nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1 (NFKB1) small interfering RNA is a molecular tool used to silence the expression of the NFKB1 gene, which encodes the p50 subunit of the NF-kappaB transcription factor complex. In research settings, particularly concerning inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, this siRNA is employed to investigate the role of NF-kappaB signaling in cellular processes such as differentiation and cytokine production.
