Nucleo CMP Forte is a combination drug composed primarily of cytidine-5'-monophosphate (CMP) and uridine-5'-triphosphate (UTP), both sodium salts. Some formulations may also include other nucleotides such as uridine monophosphate (UMP) and uridine diphosphate (UDP)[2][4][8]. It is used as a dietary supplement or adjuvant therapy to support nerve health, muscle function, and cellular metabolism. The mechanism of action involves providing essential nucleotide precursors for the synthesis of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA), phospholipids, sphingomyelin, and glycolipids—key components in neuronal membranes and myelin sheaths[2][4][6]. This supports nerve regeneration and repair processes. Clinical uses include management of peripheral neuropathies such as diabetic polyneuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, facial palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, progressive spastic paraparesis, lumbosciatalgia, multiple sclerosis-related symptoms, chronic fatigue syndromes associated with neurological dysfunctions[1][4][5][6][7][8]. The product has shown benefit in improving neurological symptoms in these conditions.
