Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NUMARZU-001 is an autologous adoptive cell therapy consisting of PD-1-selected tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs). Developed by the Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica (Hospital Clínic de Barcelona), the therapy involves isolating TILs from a patient's tumor, selecting for the PD-1 positive (PD1+) population—which is enriched for tumor-reactive T cells—and expanding them ex vivo before re-infusion. This approach aims to enhance the anti-tumor immune response in patients with advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), potentially overcoming the limitations of unselected TIL populations.
