Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nuodikang Capsule is a traditional Tibetan medicine (TTM) developed and manufactured by Tibet Rhodiola Pharmaceutical Holding. The formulation is derived from the extract of *Rhodiola crenulata*, a perennial herb native to high-altitude regions of the Tibetan plateau. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary heart disease and stable angina pectoris, particularly those presenting with symptoms of 'Qi deficiency and blood stasis' such as palpitations, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. As an adaptogen, it is also used to enhance the body's tolerance to hypoxia and alleviate symptoms associated with altitude sickness. While its precise molecular targets are not fully characterized in Western pharmacological terms, it is believed to improve myocardial oxygen metabolism and provide cardioprotective effects.
