NuP-4B

NuP-4B is an investigational first-in-kind inhaled small-molecule kinase inhibitor being developed by NuPeak Therapeutics. The program is designed for local dry-powder inhaler delivery to the respiratory epithelium and is intended to modulate kinase-driven epithelial stem cell and innate immune cell reprogramming associated with post-viral inflammation and tissue remodeling. Publicly available materials identify MAPK13 inhibition for NuP-4B, while broader company descriptions state that the program targets kinase pathways involved in epithelial and innate immune reprogramming. NuP-4B is in IND-enabling development with a primary respiratory focus in asthma and COPD, including post-viral respiratory disease following COVID-19, and the same biology is also being explored for potential applications in breast cancer, liver cancer, and brain cancer.
