Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nutradeica is a topical cosmeceutical gel-cream developed by ISDIN S.A. for the management of seborrheic dermatitis, particularly affecting the face and chest. It is formulated as an oil-free, non-comedogenic, and mattifying adjuvant to pharmacological treatments. The product's efficacy is derived from a combination of active ingredients: piroctone olamine, which provides antifungal activity against *Malassezia* species; zinc pidolate, which acts as a sebum regulator; acetamide MEA, which serves as a kerato-regulating agent to reduce flaking; and stearyl glycyrrhetinate, which provides anti-inflammatory effects to reduce redness and itching. Clinical evaluation in men with facial and chest seborrheic dermatitis has demonstrated its safety, tolerability, and effectiveness in improving clinical signs over a 14-day application period.
