Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nutrison is a range of enteral tube feeding formulas designed for medical nutrition therapy in patients with disease-related malnutrition, particularly in critically ill individuals. It is classified as a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) and provides complete nutritional support via the gastrointestinal tract when oral intake is insufficient or impossible. The standard formulation delivers 1.26 kcal/mL and contains balanced macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats), vitamins, and minerals to meet daily requirements. Nutrison products are intended for use under medical supervision and are not suitable for parenteral administration. They are used primarily in hospital or clinical settings to manage malnutrition associated with acute or chronic illness[1].
