Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NUTRYELT is an intravenous multi–trace element concentrate for solution for infusion that provides nine essential trace elements—iron, copper, manganese, zinc, fluorine, iodine, selenium, chromium, and molybdenum—for adult patients receiving parenteral nutrition who cannot be adequately fed orally or enterally.[3][5][6][7][9] It is formulated to align with international (ESPEN) guidelines, with relatively high zinc content to meet basal to moderately increased requirements and reduced copper and manganese content to limit long‑term toxicity in patients with organ dysfunction.[2][3][7] The product is used as part of a complete parenteral nutrition regimen (with separate macronutrients and vitamins) to maintain metabolic functions and prevent trace element deficiencies in clinical settings such as gastrointestinal disorders, major surgery, trauma, burns, and other conditions associated with malabsorption or hypercatabolism.[1][3][7]
