Nuvate-S6

Nuvate-S6 is a topical combination therapy developed by Galcare Pharmaceutical for the treatment of inflammatory and hyperkeratotic dermatological conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. It contains clobetasol propionate (0.05% w/v), a high-potency corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by acting as an agonist at the glucocorticoid receptor to inhibit the production of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators. The formulation also includes salicylic acid (6% w/v), a keratolytic agent that softens and removes dead skin cells by breaking down keratin clumps. This dual-action approach allows the salicylic acid to remove scales, which in turn enhances the penetration of clobetasol into the skin.
