Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NV-623 is an investigational small molecule discovered using an artificial intelligence-guided drug discovery platform by Re:You, in collaboration with Integrated Biosciences and LK Innovations. It is designed to promote hair follicle rejuvenation and treat hair loss conditions such as androgenetic alopecia. Mechanistically, NV-623 acts as a dermal papilla cell (DPC) potentiator, enhancing DPC viability, proliferation, and metabolic activity. In preclinical studies, NV-623 demonstrated superior efficacy compared to minoxidil in stimulating DPC growth and increasing hair follicle organoid sprouting length. NV-623 is formulated alongside NV-624 and NV-273 in RE:YOU's topical NOVOGRO™-powered serum, which is currently being evaluated in a randomized, double-blind clinical trial.
