Overview

NVA2301-10 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by Novassay that targets the α2δ-1 subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels. While α2δ-1 is traditionally recognized as the binding site for gabapentinoids used in neuropathic pain management, Novassay is exploring its therapeutic potential in oncology and neurodegeneration. The antibody is currently in lead optimization for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, leukemia, multiple myeloma, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.
