Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**NVD200** is an investigational, two-antibody SARS-CoV-2 combination developed by Invivyd for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. It comprises the fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibodies VYD222 and VYD224, which bind distinct, non-overlapping epitopes in the receptor-binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. The combination was designed to provide potent and broad viral neutralization, a high barrier to viral escape, and prolonged activity. Invivyd selected NVD200 for clinical advancement in 2022 but subsequently prioritized development of its VYD222 component as a faster path to patients amid changes in the COVID-19 regulatory environment.
