Overview

NVG-444 is a next-generation bispecific antibody developed by NovalGen for the treatment of hemophilia A. It functions as a factor VIII mimetic, designed to restore coagulation activity in patients with hemophilia A by mimicking the function of endogenous factor VIII. The antibody incorporates NovalGen's proprietary autoregulation (AR) technology, which enables self-regulation to reduce prothrombotic risks and mitigate mechanism-of-action toxicities such as thromboembolic events and microangiopathies that are associated with this class of therapeutics. Preclinical data have demonstrated that NVG-444 can reduce thrombotic complications compared to previous approaches[1][3][4][7].
